Saw a SLS AMG Roadster. No SR20. But the sad part was there was a girl driving it who couldnt have been older than 20.

No matter how much money I might have, I would never buy my 20 something year old a 300k + car. Kids gotta learn the value of things.

But what if she takes it to track days on the weekends, and does the oil changes and brakes herself?

Meh. To your second point.

If someone has parents who are so loaded that they get them an SLS, why would I judge either party? Their parents clearly don't mind, the kid gets a sweet car out of it too.

You can still learn the value of things even if they are given to you in such a fashion.

My kid is getting the best possible, the same way my parents tried to give me the best possible. Its not like I sat here in a bubble and didn't learn how life works. But thats cause my parents along with the toys drilled in the proper lessons on what it takes. I know what it takes for my dad to now successfully float this family. I don't take it for granted.

I'm going to do the same (or try as best as I can) with my kids.
